Accessibility
RigCheck should work for every crew member
RigCheck is working toward an accessible experience across public pages and authenticated department workflows.
Statement updated September 2, 2026
Accessibility goal
The design target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including keyboard navigation, visible focus, text alternatives, readable contrast, form labels, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, and compatibility with common assistive technologies. This is a goal, not a claim that every page has been independently certified.
Supported use
RigCheck is designed for current browsers on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. Browser zoom and operating-system text settings may help. Personal light, dark, and system themes are available after sign-in.
Report a barrier
If a feature prevents you from completing a task, submit a security or access concern. Include the page, task, device, browser, and assistive technology if you are comfortable doing so. Do not include passwords, patient information, or restricted department details.
Alternative access
RigCheck will make reasonable efforts to provide information or an alternative method while a reported barrier is evaluated. Department administrators should also maintain operational fallback procedures for any required inspection activity.
